Native American Painting

Nice artistic painting of a beautiful Indian woman. Woman are very respected among Indian traditional way of life, as they are traditionally a matriarchal society. Among the Lakota, the Tipi and everything in it, the woman owned it. If a woman was unhappy with her husband, his things would be placed outside her lodge. Perhaps this painting serve as reminder of the importance of Winyan (the female) that traditional cultures in both Europe and Africa used to, or still practice. The painting has a nice frame. It is 12.5" X 10.5".
